("we", "us"), Lalitpur, Nepal — the owner of the registered trademark MatoSense — collects, uses and protects your information when you use this website (matosense.com), purchase MatoSense hardware, or use the MatoSense web platform at soil.matosense.com.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, phone number and organization details when an account is created on the web platform for you or your team.
• Sensor and field data — soil readings (pH, NPK, moisture, temperature, electrical conductivity), device identifiers, reading timestamps, and land/field details you enter (including land area in Nepalese units).
• Order and shipping information — billing details, delivery address and contact information when you purchase hardware. We ship worldwide, so this may include international address data.
• Support communications — messages you send to sales@matosense.com, help@matosense.com, info@matosense.com, or via phone/WhatsApp.
• Technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and security audit logs on the platform, used to keep the service safe.

This marketing website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your light/dark theme preference is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the web platform: showing your live soil data, historical charts and exports.
• To fulfil hardware orders, arrange worldwide shipping and provide warranty service.

5. Data retention

Account and sensor data are retained while your account is active so that you keep long-term soil history — one of the platform's main benefits. Export files generated on the platform expire and are deleted automatically after a short period. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to info@matosense.com. Organizational customers can also exercise these rights on behalf of their users under our Data Processing Agreement.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed credentials, role-based access control and append-only audit logging on the platform. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously and review our practices regularly.
